Writing Workshop: February 3rd, 2016
This free workshop is available to contestants of the 1st Annual New Home Economics Short Story Contest. We started the contest to combat the overarching gloom and doom vision for the future. Let’s generate some alternatives and have fun doing it.

Cooking with Kids: March 26th, April 23rd, May 21st, 2016
This is a workshop for children and the adults in their
lives to cook in a community setting. We taste the individual ingredients, get messy while we chop, season, and heat. We sit down to give thanks to one another and share our delicious healthy meal. We wrap up by cleaning together using the exciting industrial dishwasher.
Children gain confidence by working with new tools and peers. Parents gain new meal ideas and learn methods for inviting their child into the kitchen.

Cooking with Kids
Back for its 3rd season! This is a cooking workshop for children and their parents or adult buddies to come cook together in a community setting. We taste the individual ingredients, get messy while we cook together, sit down to eat our delicious healthy meal together, and clean up together in an exciting industrial kitchen. Children will gain confidence while working with new tools, and parents will learn how to invite their child into the kitchen!
